These terms and conditions are the terms and conditions upon which Acacia Creative Studio (“we/us”) makes available to you, the event commissioner, any of our services. By paying the booking fee to secure your wedding flowers with Acacia Creative Studio you agree to the following terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions below form the basis under which your order will be executed. It is important to read them.
Reservation of wedding date – A non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the confirmed quote will be required to book Acacia Creative Studio services. No fee will be taken until the client has confirmed they are happy with the quote. The quote is valid for four weeks from the date of sending.
The booking fee is non-refundable, even if the date is changed, the wedding cancelled for any reason, or the client decides to engage an alternative supplier. It is applied towards the contracted wedding flowers and is deducted from the final invoice.
Booking without a consultation and full quote. We are happy to take a deposit to schedule our services without a consultation and quote, based on 20% of this average spend. The costs for wedding flowers can be higher or lower, depending on what you require.
In the event of a cancellation, charges may also apply. Cancellation eight weeks prior to the wedding date will incur a further charge of 20% of the total amount and full payment will be required for cancellations six weeks before the day of the wedding. If the final balance is not paid six weeks prior to the wedding, we reserve the right to cancel and the 20% deposit will be lost.
Charges are applied at our discretion pending cancellation circumstances. No charges will be applied should the wedding be changed to a different date and all products are still required – subject to date availability.
The full balance for the contracted work is required six weeks before the wedding. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the invoice details are correct.
Any changes will be brought together at a meeting, via email or on the phone approximately two months ahead of the wedding, when all additional ideas and revisions can be addressed..
Deliveries will be subject to a charge, and set-up charges will apply where appropriate. Details will be specified on your initial quote. An additional charge of 3% is made for all credit card payments.
Whilst we endeavour to make all deliveries within sufficient time before the event, we cannot be held responsible for any unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control. We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements should this happen. In this event, refunds will be at our discretion.
By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you agree that Acacia Creative Studio is the sole supplier of fresh flowers at your event, unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking.
TheAcacia Creative Studio prides itself on stunning floristry and makes every effort to provide the varieties discussed. We do not guarantee specific stem types. We will work with your wish lists and if available we will include them, however if not we will use the wish list blooms as inspiration for alternative blooms. The options are that you can leave us to choose a mix of flowers, – or we will work to a colour and style palette, based on our discussions, emails and images on your mood board. Please note this never produces identical flowers or designs to the photos that we discuss, these are used as inspiration, and each piece is unique to you and your wedding.
Acacia Creative Studio reserves the right, without penalty or cancellation by the client, to alter the style and shape of vases, pots, sundry items and display articles should any required items become unavailable prior to the wedding date.
All hired items are subject to a £200.00 deposit charge. The client is fully responsible for all damaged or missing items and the cost of all such items will be deducted from the deposit charge at full retail value. The deposit charge will be returned in full on safe collection of all Acacia Creative Studio property.
Should the client have any issues with the quality or standard of the flowers/displays, the client must notify the florist on the day of receipt – before 5pm. Acacia Creative Studio reserves the right to rectify any errors on the day without prejudice. Any complaints regarding the quality, shape, size, quantity etc cannot be accepted after the day of the event. It’s is vital that the client informs Acacia Creative Studio of any errors immediately.
